Lisa E. Brown
Lisa E. Brown, principal with Young, Kelsey, Brown & Strippoli, P.C. joined the firm in 1996 as an associate and became a partner in 2010. Mrs. Brown grew up in Kingston, New York and she moved to the Albany area to attend Albany Law School in 1993. She graduated Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1993 and Albany Law School with honors in 1996.
Mrs. Brown focuses her practice primarily on matrimonial and family law issues including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support and maintenance, drafting of prenuptial agreements, separation and marital settlement agreements, paternity and grandparent rights.
Mrs. Brown was appointed to serve a five year term for the Committee on Character and Fitness for the Third Judicial Department in 2018. She is a member of the Albany County Bar Association, the Capital District Women's Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. Mrs. Brown is also an active member in her local community. She is a Board Member of the Voorheesville Community & School Foundation and the President of Kids Club Board, an after-school care program serving Voorheesville Elementary & Middle School children. In addition, Mrs. Brown serves on the planning committee for the annual Voorheesville Family Biking Day Event which was started several years ago in an effort to get families to enjoy biking and explore the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail. Mrs. Brown is also a graduate of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce Capital Leadership Program. She resides locally with her Husband and two daughters.
